Home to B.F.A. programs in Game Design and Product Design as well as the B.F.A. in Architectural Design, the new Dolphin Design Center was created specifically for designers for the 21st Century. Providing students across campus with opportunities to work on real-world projects from across the Baltimore region, it is a vivid example of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s commitment to preparing its students for a constantly changing world. With state-of-the-art maker spaces, collaborative areas and classrooms, the Center supports the diverse, often multidisciplinary ways in which creative makers now work.

Following is a photo tour of the new Dolphin Design Center. All photos by Karl Connelly ’94.

The fifth floor houses individual work spaces for Architectural Design students, as well as a seminar area and modular meeting space.

On the third floor is the Product Design seminar area, designed to be whatever the faculty and students can conceive. The space includes multiple display options including touch-sensitive smart boards. The floor also includes individual student work spaces and a meeting area.

The Game Design and Interactive Arts spaces are found on the second floor. Students can use these spaces to create, collaborate, or test their games. Behind the open area is the Game Lab. Also on the floor are two seminar spaces that can open into one large space.
