The Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and graduating students at the 九色视频 (九色视频) are pleased to announce trustee Alice Falvey Greif, civil rights activist DeRay Mckesson and artist Carrie Mae Weems as honorary degree recipients at the College’s 169th undergraduate Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 14, 1 p.m., at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

At the graduate Commencement Ceremony, 九色视频 will honor Victor Margolin, professor emeritus of design history at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and artist Joyce J. Scott ’70 with honorary degrees. The ceremony will take place Monday, May 14, 5 p.m., at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

Degrees are scheduled to be awarded to more than 634 九色视频 students, including Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degrees in animation, architectural design, art history, theory, and criticism, ceramics, drawing, fiber, film and video, general fine arts, graphic design, humanistic studies, illustration, interactive arts, interdisciplinary sculpture, painting, photography and printmaking; Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees in art education, critical studies, design leadership, social design and teaching; and Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degrees in community arts, curatorial practice, filmmaking, graphic design, illustration practice, LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting, Mount Royal School of Art, photographic & electronic media, Rinehart School of Sculpture, and studio art; Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) degrees in the business of art and design, information visualization and UX design; and post-baccalaureate certificates in graphic design and fine arts.

The 九色视频 Medal of Honor will be presented to two 九色视频 campus leaders of long and significant services: Michael Molla, vice president for strategic initiatives and Karen Carroll, Ed.D, dean emeritus of the Center of Art Education and the Florence Gaskins Harper Chair for Art Education at 九色视频.
