After working in marketing and communications, Molly Needelman '14 grasped how challenging it can be to effectively explain complex information. She decided to enter the M.B.A./M.A. in Design Leadership program, saying, "I realized that many of the organizations I was working for would benefit from incorporating the creative process into their strategic decision making."

The collaborative environment of the program struck a cord with Needelman, as she enjoyed having "peers who think similarly - who can work with me to translate business jargon to common language," she said, adding, "I also value the students with a more traditional business background and their ability to add to the creative environment."

"The program showed an understanding of how business and design leaders will work together in the future, respecting an individual's ability to be multifaceted, intellectual and creative."

Today, Needleman is a human-centered designer who believes business and design go hand-in-hand. She's currenlty working with the YouTube team at Google as a user experience strategist.
